Bill Morrison, founder and President of Bill Morrison & Associates, L.L.C. has over 30 years of successful domestic and international executive experience in strategic planning, marketing, engineering, and business development with growth oriented companies in various technology markets including both hardware and software.
Before establishing Bill Morrison & Associates, Mr. Morrison was Vice President of Sales and Marketing for a $120+ million power electronics division of a publicly traded multinational corporation. He is a veteran of the explosive growth period of Silicon Valley while in management positions at companies that include Intel, Rolm and Fujitsu. He has also functioned as the Vice President of Sales and Marketing of a venture capital funded start-up technology company which was successfully acquired by a large multinational corporation.
Mr. Morrison holds a BSEE from General Motors Institute and an MBA in High Technology Management from Golden Gate University. His credentials also include Doctoral level studies in Management, Marketing, International Business and Finance. His area of research interest is global technology competitiveness which he uses in his practice to successfully implement globally competitive business ventures.
In addition to being a successful manager within technology companies, Mr. Morrison has also shared his experiences with new industry managers. He has lectured in High Technology Sales and Marketing, Strategic Planning, Management, Finance and International Banking at the graduate level at three Universities in the San Francisco Bay Area. Mr. Morrison has been a frequent guest speaker at executive forums, business conferences and other educational institutions in various parts of the world.
